Eligibility:
To be eligible for VTOS you must be 21 years old and over 6 months on a qualifying Social Protection payment by the start of your course. Please contact the VTOS office to confirm eligibility.
Allowances & Funding
VTOS participants retain their Social Welfare entitlements. For details specific to your circumstances please contact the VTOS office.
There are no fees for VTOS courses and you will be assisted with books and materials at the start of the course. Depending on individual circumstances students may be eligible for the following:
- Meal allowance
- Travel allowance
- Free childcare place for your child under the Childcare Employment and Training (CETS) Scheme
- Christmas Bonus
